Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair...
that little town in cyberspace!
two members of the osit clan
A random recollection of our few days in San Francisco
mana concep, mano romy, mana pilar, nenet and friends
i told mano romy there is a vivid memory i have of him and the song "santa lucia."
street performers, food, lively stores, tourist vehicles and fellow tourists
fisherman's wharf, what a lively place
there is a certain ambiance in this place i feel uniquely of its' place
there is always beauty even in the most desolate place
very peaceful, very serene. see me in the walk way. this is joy's photography.
for the memory of those who love america
from this point, while looking towards the bay, memories of home abounds
an aptly placed jar by the door of a winery
no filter on my camera so this is what happened. coit tower yonder.
sitting buddha in the japanese garden
one of napa valley's wineries
aw!!! how she grown now!
used to be fishing boats, now they became tourist boats
culture in a very cultural city
the golden gate bridge from a distance
the palm tree reminds me of the absense of freezing temperatures in our own place.
a beacon in an island prison? a beacon just the same
too late to take a picture of these nice houses. it doesn't give it justice
if will be beautiful to have this kind by the mouth of sulat river.
there are as many cameras here as people.
a gull, an iris and a few geraniums: in alcatraz?
a windmill in california?
napa valley, of course!
after its useful days, it is relegated as a display.
reaching out to the world.
the haunting sounds of these chimes will bring one to a different world far away.
would one not just take a seat around here and just think?
guess what a boy in a winery does? play videor games, of course.
ah, youth!
there was too much changes to this world while this tree was growing.
this fixture has a lot of symbolism and meaning.
a statue right beside coit tower
it's not san francisco without these cable cars
the old water tower of alcatraz
look deeper for its inner beauty.
a large planter at the botanic garden.
a wall fountain ina winery.
there is no romance in the reality of confinement - especially in alcatraz.
now, tourists' ferry, actually.
out of these vines come the drinks of the gods
where else? japanese, garden of course!
with this picture, we say goodbye to san francisco! till we come back again.
Just for your enjoyment:This is to accompany the background music attached to this page.

Artist: Scott McKenzie Lyrics
Song: San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair) Lyrics

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

All across the nation such a strange vibration
People in motion
There's a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion

For those who come to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
